I am suddenling streetpasses from home. 18 in total. All different. 4 weeks ago, I tried to set up a home relay but it never worked. Those are the router's mac address that I could list.

Probably because it was SpotPass. If you have your 3DS hooked up to your wireless internet connection, you got a special mii from Nintendo to promote the nationwide StreetPass event happening this weekend.

You know "HomePass"? If you're using that, it basically tells your 3DS that it is in the same building with everyone else who is using HomePass, so you will StreetPass with them.

Nintendo has done this for us, because of National Streetpass weekend. Basically, you are using "HomePass" without actually using it.

This is because of your SSID - if you are in a Nintendo Zone, this will work for you (albeit temporarily). Your SSID is "attwifi", the same as a NZ so the 3DS thinks it's in a NZ.

Well, Europe doesn't have the national streetpass weekend, we do have Streetpass relays though. Basically it works the same way as you mentioned but it's all the time like that. Tbh, it's kinda annoying since getting a new streetpass is no longer fun and rather a chore... Having to play those 6mii games with like 30+ people a day is quite dull. D=
