Hardware Are you getting 3G or Wi-Fi only?

Well, just want to find out for those getting the PSV, do you all want a 3G or Non-3G version (assuming if your carriers support the 3G)?

For me I won't vote, but I'm already paying 3G data for my iPhone (and it's pretty hefty). I'll just use hotspot.

Which do you prefer? Vote and comment!

IF money magically appeared in my hands though, I'd get the 3G + WiFi version. I've got a 12GB mobile phone data plan, and I'm having problems expending the rest of the 10+ GB every month

I simply just hate it if Singtel were to be the exclusive 3G distributor.

For my little bro, I will be getting the WiFi model.
As for myself, I am not quite sure. It will depend on the usage limit and what I am able to do with the 3G.
If - no 3G gaming, then no 3G for me.

Depends would we get the 3g version on unlocked in aussie? or would be Telstra (blerrrgghhhh) . If it is unlocked I am getting the 3g version probably or if it is locked Wifi for me, My galaxy tab had data plans on it and can be used as a mobile AP anyway

3G isn't exactly used for multiplayer purpose but rather social. Near uses the 3G pretty much effectively.

They didn't. But think about it, 3G is obviously much slower than Wi-Fi, it isn't really meant for true multiplayer experiences.

Of course this is all my opinion, the 3G can be used in whatever way you like

They didn't. But think about it, 3G is obviously much slower than Wi-Fi, it isn't really meant for true multiplayer experiences.

3G can be fast enough depending on the location.
Some providers offer unlimited or good usage limit. So I dont see why 3G cant be used for gaming.

When I'll get a Vita I'll be going for the WiFi one. I don't see the added bonus of 3G when you have a smartphone with it (which simply aren't that reliable as well due to coverage/signal loss/whatever). When I want to play online I'll connect to a hotspot and if I have to check something on the web I'll use my blackberry. Also another data plan isn't something I'm looking forward to. I also have the idea it might be very laggy or have more then usual disconnects.

Oh boy, this'll be fun when trying to play online but half of your opponents use 3G..

Ah well, we'll see how this pans out.

Probably 3G if it has Netflix or they announce a Monster Hunter game, otherwise Wifi.
