I want to play nso with a hid n64 controller throught sys-hidplus but I'm afraid of getting banned due to it, is it safe? Of course I have Nso expansion pack and no nsp or piracy on my sysnand

Just out of curiosity, why would you need the sys-hidplus module?
You can connect a N64 controller directly to a Switch :

The main reason for getting banned is installing pirated software and then trying to update it or go into the eShop.
I haven't heard Nintendo banning users for just using a custom firmware but you can't be sure that they decided to do so afterall.
I would not risk my Switch if getting online is something important for you.

I don't know the exact answer 100%, but I will say that if you ever use edizon, you better make darn sure there are no cheats active before you open nso, or any game that goes online. You can deactivate them in emummc, or jump into the contents/<tid>/cheats folder and delete toggles.txt, assuming your Atmosphere settings have auto cheat activation turned off...

Official ones are way too expensive here, I use a USB one

I don't even use edizon, cheats are not my thing
