Anyone have any clue to which one is better or information general with thermal pastes?
I'm clueless about it, any kind of trick/tip would help. (I know that pea method is the best applying method.)

AFAIK, the only (biggest) benefit of MX-4 is it's easier to spread than MX-2. Otherwise, there's not much cooling advantage that I'm aware of, or if there is it's small enough not to matter.

It probably wouldn't make any difference if you went with MX-2 or MX-4.

As Joe suggested, MX-3 usually has the better reviews, so go with that if you like. Quite frankly, as long as you don't plan on doing any insane overclocking, the kind of thermal paste you use isn't all that important (as long as it's not some $0.50 piece of trash, of course)
