Interesting.. we've likely both seen the same videos, but I made a totally different judgement based on just those. 2d free exploration, free movement, big boss battles. Screams Metroid for me. May I ask if you liked the 2d Metroid games for SNES and GBA?

is there really a need to have an aneurysm over the fact that individuals do not have the same taste in games as you? I personally have no interest in the game, my opinion of it having watched the video in teh first place is still the same now, and that it looks dull and uninteresting. The 2d work is nice, but I've seen better. I don't know how it plays but it seems to handle a bit clumsily with movement not particularly fluid.

i level the same criticism for any game by whoever developed it. personally speaking, the demoscene impresses me infinitely more than this game, with the demos/intros/prods things that make you go wow. far, far more interesting than this game. but again that's a personal opinion. It's not the end of the world, the game will still be released and like by many, I just won't be one of the many.

if you're offended by such comments, then you need to get out more. life's a bit short to have grudges against people in the interwebs.

but hey, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, some just smell more than others.

I think TakaM took more offence to how you stated it as fact instead of opinion. An "I think" here and there goes a long way to preventing misunderstandings.

And TakaM, Lukeage was just playing devil's advocate, upon seeing the actual video it would appear he's quite interested in the game.

well, I can't account for everyone's misinterpretation of what I write. Even if I did state it as a fact, which I didn't, it still wouldn't warrant verbal abuse and a temper tantrum. It's as bad as being a fanboy. and they're worse than scum.

you liked soul calibur legends, I didn't, but imho it was shockingly bad. you disagree. it happens, but I don't have a hissy fit because you don't agree with me.
