Hacking Applying Custom Announcer?

I'm trying to revert Corrin back to her Japanese name, Kamui. I have the Japanese announcer voice files applied via Sm4shExplorer, but my game crashes once I get to the character select.
I have snd_se_narration_characall.nus3bank, snd_se_narration_characall_Kamui.nus3bank, and melee.msbt applied. Am I missing anything?
