With the release of iOS 8.1, Apple patched the "date trick" exploit, meaning that all emulators on non-Jailbroken devices will no longer work. I recently found out that some emulators have been updated to work on iOS 8.1. So if y'all have iOS 8.1, a certain few emulators will work on it. I recently downloaded an SNES and Genesis emulator without any problems whatsoever.
