So the robpin you should have replaced and renamed in the power save should have been N3DS_U_25600_usa_9221, this also needs to be in the root of your sd

Sorry to be a bother, but can anyone provide a list of steps to use this? (for Monster Hunter Generations) I have a powersaves adapter and it was simple to use. I am just very confused with this method because I'm coming in with 0 experience/knowledge so I don't even know where to start aside from the download links provided. I have absolutely no idea how this all works as I'm clearly not very tech savvy lol so some help and clarification would be GREATLY appreciated

Thank you in advance!!!

There's a guide under the FAQ section on the first post. It's pretty easy to follow.

Sorry if it was not ok to post that vid APM, I just figured it would lower question counts. It helped me a ton yesterday heh

Yeah I'm trying to follow Lord Blade's steps and keep getting lost lol suppose I'm not the brightest. I don't have OoT, instead I have Pokemon ORAS. Shoud I then click the ORAS option on the Homebrew page and follow those instructions to launch homebrew on my console? If so I got completely lost at step #4.
  1. Extract the starter kit at the root of the SD card used by the target console and copy the installer in the /3ds/ folder of the console used to install the exploit.

Also I'm assuming I have to unscrew the back of my 3ds to pop out my SD card? (Like I said I'm coming into this with absolutely 0 knowledge/experience so please excuse my incompetence)

A lot of it depends on your ds Aiden, my old ds I was just able to flip a clasp and eject the card. The new ones you do have to unscrew though and pry the back off to get at the card.

Okay so now I have my 3DS SD card. So now I have to find an adapter for the SD card to plug to my computer and then unzip the starter kit to the SD card folder? I'm terribly confused because I don't have OoT so I'm following 2 sets of instructions here lol

there is the one in the FAQ which refers to OoT and then theres : https://mrnbayoh.github.io/basehaxx/ - because I don't have OoT and instead have ORAS. Some clarification anyone?

EDIT: How does one find out your firmware version? Is there anyone here willing to help a noob out =/

Finally on step 4, the one I downgrade to 2.1.0 heh. Finding out a lot of my problems was me over complicating things.

No clue on that one Aiden, I just went out and bought a Ocarina of Time from Wal-Mart, the Nintendo Select version works. If you dig around enough you should find what you need, took me a day and a half to figure my stuff out. But yes if your laptop or computer does not have a SD card reader you will need one.

your firmware is under system settings at the bottom.

Hm well dunno then.

No you dont have to Screw off your Backplate. Go into Settings --> Data Management --> Sd Card Management and drop the files over your network. Its way easier...

Apologies, but still have more questions to come. What is the root file for the 3ds SD card? All of this jargon just flies over my head, I don't understand any of it lol might possibly be asking questions all day until I can get a fully and extremely simplified step by step list T_T

A root directory is the top most directory, so just the top folder of your card.
