Hacking Question Anyway to trigger sdxc update without one?

So I have no mircoSDXC cards (yet) but I want to trigger the update now... Is there anyway to do this?

I have no mircoSDXC and likely won't have one for a while, but I want to have the update now so when I get one I can just put in the console and play

Huh, that's odd. Seems a bit silly that they would have an optional update that is only triggered when you try to use a SDXC card, rather than make it part of their standard updates.
I'd guess that at some point it will be merged into the standard updates, since it's more work for them to maintain two separate update branches. When they have to change something in the SD card module for some reason, they'll probably have to make the same changes to the SDXC update as well. Unless the SDXC update is just a completely separate ExFAT driver that doesn't change any of the existing files.

Cause I likely won't be buying a 64+ for at least a year ( you know, once games are out for the console)

I can see one other reason for wanting that update now before the card is purchased being the amount of updates that will no doubt be along soon™ which could have the potential to close current browser holes

So, when new updates come along he may not have the option to pick and choose

Because there's absolutely 100% no reason for you to do it now. It's like buying a seatbelt cushion when you're not even planning to buy a car.

I never said I had no plans to buy one, Its just I have no clue when I'm buying one. I have the money but Its up to my mom (i'm only 14 fyi) as to when I can buy it (even though I'm paying for it). I tried to buy the damn thing on march 3 but couldn't/

I guess I was lucky that no one cared what I spent my birthday/christmas money on (it was mostly on games anyway)

You said you weren't gonna buy one for a year+. There simply isn't any reason for you to get the update now. It's not going to do anything at all.

Get the update now reduces the risk of accidentally updating past 2.0 when they get an SD card in the future I think I understand the ops question
