minor scratches from the touch screen? Is there a special product I can use or a home product maybe? I hate having a little scratch on it. I got it 2 weeks ago and I might bring it back to Best Buy if I can't fix it and tell them some stupid story to exchange it. It's flashed buyt that doesn't matter.

i dont think there is a way to remove scratches. but you should return it because its only 2 weeks old. (i would want to return it as well)

i would personally use screen protectors. U scratch the touch screen quite hard when ur playing Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!, doing circular motions on your DS really fast. (those who have played it know what im talking about ;P)

If it's very visible I'd say try and exchange it, if not (which was the case for me) stick a screen protector on there and you won't feel a thing. By the way don't try all kinds of fluids on there, it's really bad for the touch screen. A couple of weeks back I tried putting on my Hori screen protector by using the water and soap method. Which resulted to my horror in a completely fucked up touch screen, it didn't work anymore. Then I started rubbing it for 10 minutes like a madman. Slowly after 15 minutes it reacted again. All's fine now, but hell was I scared!

There is a kind of polish for the iPod that not only cleans the surface, but fills the scratches, so they become invisible. Maybe the same stuff would work on the touchscreen. There are similar products for PDAs, too.

I would say THIS IS IT

Those polishes would work on the outside, but don't use them on the soft touch screen. It'd be ruined!

Ouendan ruin ds gaming for me in daylight :'( not that it matters since my ds got jacked

Novus plastic polish (use #2 then #1) works wonders for anything plastic. iPods, car headlights, PDAs, and the NDS.

Yes, I've used Novus 2 then 1 on my touch screen with good results. The screen felt really slick afterwards too - a very smooth motion and just the thing for beating those faster Ouendan levels.

Okay, two questions here:

My DS (the original kind) has abit of scratches on the top and faded corners, and well, my m3 CF isnt looking very pretty.....
So how would it be possible to fix/refurbish them?
Paint, Gel, or whatever...................any ideas?

and also, on a related topic...........What is the best brand of screen protector out there?
I have some cheap brand and its all scratched up from Metroid Hunters...
If and when i replace it i'd like to go with the best.
So.....what is the best?
