I know a lot of people love to claim that snes games don't have the filter that makes them look darker but just load up a save state for breath of fire II for example as soon as you resume you will see it bright but then go dark rather quickly I really hate how dark it makes games has anybody figured out a way to remove it yet?

It doesn't seem darker to me while playing. It goes dark because you're in the menu.
no it starts out much darker before you click resume then it goes bright then dark again it only happens when you first load up a save state then the only way to get it to do it again is to close the game and open it back up because the filter is already applied... the game is much darker than it was on the original snes same way gba games were
