Believe me, people still manage to remove A9LH by restoring NAND backups with D9 without selecting the "Restore NAND (keep A9LH)" option.

Even if they do that, they can still recover without a hard mod by simply reinstalling a9lh. There won't be any accidental updating to the latest firmware and being left with an unhacked, inexploitable 3DS.

They can't have had an 11.0 backup unless it was 11.0 with a9lh installed or they hardmodded the console, updated to vanilla 11.0, and dumped it.

What he means is, if a sysnand with a9lh was overwritten with 11.0 with no a9lh then you can't downgrade and reinstall a9lh without a hardmod. The same could be said for transferring 11.0 emunand to sysnand without preserving a9lh.

And what I'm saying is, it wouldn't even be possible to have a vanilla 11.0 sysnand dump without a hardmod, in which case it doesn't even matter what you do with your 3DS because it's hardmodded. But I suppose you can still fuck up if you, as you just mentioned, cloned your 11.0 emunand to sysnand.

Yes, I'm talking about 11.0 with A9LH installed of course. It already happened a couple times from what I've read around here. But anyways, we're not much helping OP discussing this.

You do realize that if you restore an a9lh 11.0 sysnand dump, you will still have a9lh even if you don't select "keep a9lh" right? And the OP doesn't need help anymore; the only way he can hack his 3DS again is to either get a hardmod or hope that 11.0 can one day be exploited.

Oh god, you're right, I just got things mixed up with people restoring 11.0 EmuNANDs. A facepalm is required.

Better to pay someone to do it: by the time you buy a soldering iron, adapter, wires, solder, dremel, etc it will cost about the same, plus if you pay someone you can guarantee it working and not breaking your console. Your flag says you're in the US, hundshamer is an approved hardmodder there.

I actually have all the equipment to do it and my soldering isnt too bad I just need to figure out how to do it
since im not the one who would be spending the money for shipping and paying the guy
