Hacking AnyRegion Changer (with JAP console)

Hi, having some problems with using AnyRegion Changer with a JAP console (Wiikey)

I have 3.3J and wish to switch to 3.2 PAL.

The first main problem I am having trouble with is changing the wiikey firmware to 1.9s PAL. I have burnt the "update" disc, ran it from the Wii menu, and get a strange noise (like "aaahh") and then the screen goes black.

i think u should change to 3.2e 1st before running a wiikey update.. correct me if i'm wrong. i'm not sure how to change region using wiikey whether it need soldering a different jumper or simply running a wiikey setup disc...

I'm not sure about 3.3j but I managed to switch from 3.2j to 3.2u with ARC 1.1b.

I switch everything, except the game region, to USA. I then used the wiikey 1.9s USA firmware and updated it. Switched the game region to USA and all was well.

I did not get any strange noise while updating.

Maybe like innercy suggested, try switching to 3.2 first.

Yes it does. It needs to download the right system menu for conversion.
