Hardware Anyone with a hardmod get a capture card?

I was wondering if anyone who has had their system hardmodded previously was able to get a capture card installed on their system. Kind of an out there question, but I'm not sure if they'll work on my 3ds if it has a hardmod already, or CFW. I know at the very least I can restore a backup if they won't take CFW.

Received an email saying that they won't install capture cards on a system with a NAND hardmod.

Capture cards work with CFW perfectly. Not sure about hardmod though

I'm sure they do, I have seen a streamer running CFW before. However, I've sent an email to katsu before asking if he would install a capture card.
I'm not sure if he understood my question or not, which is why I'm asking anyone here, but he said he wouldn't because it was "illegal here"
I'm not sure if he was talking about CFW or the hardmod. Would be hard to believe he was talking about the mod, seeing as a capture card is technically a hardmod.

He was most likely referring to CFW's ability to allow pirated games and the like.
If I remember correctly, Katsu charges more to install a capture card to a system that already has another hardmod, but I can't cite the source I read that from.

I'll try to figure out some more stuff, maybe how to backup all my games. I have original sysNAND backup still.
