Gaming Anyone here have experience with RPG Maker XP?

To make a long story short, I HAVE to help my friend with his game using this program. He's doing most of the technical work, and I'm working on the sprites, music, etc. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or good links to give me... I'm trying to find some good sprites that will look okay once inserted into the game, because some of the pre-set ones that the game comes with are horrible. Also, has anyone ever gotten the Active Time Battle system to work? My friend is trying to get that working right now but he doesn't have much patience.

Yes, I have experience with RPG Maker XP. Not much, but a bit.

I've been messing around with rpg maker for a few years so maybe I can be of some help

For starters, what type of sprite template are you using? If it is the default style, then you can just google 'Rmxp RTP sprites". there are tons.

as for the battle system, which ATB system are you using?

As long as you read the instuctions in the script it should be fairly easy to understand....
