Gaming Anyone got Fallout 3 PC to work?

I've tried so many things now, but it still doesn't work!
I don't get it, I've tried everything, it still doesn't work.

Using a somewhat old, cheap comp (HP pavilion Dv6000), Its runs with a lot of lag. it takes about a minute to explode a radroach/blow someones head off with VATS.

Lucky us, Bethesda said they are working on a patch right now

I sure hope it fixes my problems, and the loads of other bugs.

It should be out before the end of this week.

Wow, did they say that? That's fast, usually it takes at least a month for a patch.
Then again, they probably pre-empted that they would have to patch some bugs out, after all they had experience with Oblivion.

Yeah, and you should just check their official forums.
Like every minute a new topic appears with a new problem, and every 5 seconds a new reply is made somewhere.
There are so much bugs and problems, they just couldn't wait to make a patch.

Yeah, I'll definitely wait until the major bugs are ironed out. I only played through Oblivion at the start of this year, but it was so much more fun without the bugs I heard so much about when it came out.

heh works fine on my laptop after i disabled the ffdshow audio codecs.

x1650 512mb
1.5gb ram.

bethesda just released a patch today but i cant use it cause im using skullptura's rip. so im not sure if it will fix everybody elses problems
