Anybody else a fan of Drizzt?

Just curious as to how many people have read his series, written by R. Salvatore. They really are excellent. Or any other forgotten realms fans there?

Drizzt is an interesting, and neat character, but I really think Salvatore has oversaturated the Forgotten Realms setting with his prize char. It's also unfortunate that since Drizzt was conceived, anyone who ever wants to play a Drow in an rpg, tries to play them like Drizzt, that abysmally rare good drow.
