It gets really obnoxious. Especially in games like Crash Racing where you get that pop up after winning every single match.
Haha! That's hilarious! Funny how things happenHa. Perfect timing! I came here to look for the exact thing. Hoping someone has an answer.
Haha! Yeah I don't want to do that. Thank you though!Link a Nintendo Account.
Why not? You have so much to gain and nothing to lose by linking a Nintendo Account. And account bans pretty much never happen so there is no reason not to have an account linked.Haha! Yeah I don't want to do that. Thank you though!
Account bans happen often af though. And if I add it, I just dont want to get that notification... but wouldn't my device be banned already even without a Nintendo Id? Its interesting. I'm still able to download updates directly from the nsp. If you're banned, cant you 'not' do that? Or?Why not? You have so much to gain and nothing to lose by linking a Nintendo Account. I do not have a single verified account ban and I manage the biggest location with information regarding all manner of Nintendo Switch Account bans. You can also get banned without having a linked Nintendo Account which makes adding a Nintendo Account next to impossible. And there are multiple types of bans, the most common of which prevents downloading game updates from Nintendo's online servers.Account bans happen often af though. But that is a good point...

That doesn't make sense. Once you're banned, you're not going to be able link an account which means you will lose out on some features because some games require a linked account. There are absolutely no downsides to having a linked account because account bans rarely, if ever happen. And if you are worried about being banned before you link an account, instabans are a myth. Nintendo does not ban nowhere near that fast. They ban in waves.Maybe it's a sense of knowing for a fact that I'm banned (linking) vs not knowing for sure (not linking. Maybe it's a psychological thing on my part...?
What I mean by this is, what if I'm not banned now, but once I link the account, then I'm banned? That doesn't make sense. You're suggesting that as soon as you bring the console online, it will get banned which means it makes no difference what you do. Might as well link an account while you have the chance. Even under your theoretical scenario, there's no chance of online play because linking an account involves bring the console much like online play. So there is still no downside to linking a Nintendo Account. What I mean by this is, what if I'm not banned now, but once I link the account, then I'm banned?
Use Kefir updater then. What I mean by this is, what if I'm not banned now, but once I link the account, then I'm banned?
please if you tell people about this, also menton that you need to backup all saves and painstakingly restore them all afterwardsUse Kefir updater then.
Alright will do, although using checkpoint to do the back up is pretty quick, and restoring saves justs requires the game to boot up for checkpoint to see the game to do the restore.please if you tell people about this, also menton that you need to backup all saves and painstakingly restore them all afterwards

The application also issues the warning before you proceed
I don't have all the answers man, but the application is there if you want to use it.and that sounds all peachy but then, most of us have more than 3 games and some have a family worth of accounts.
and I'm still not clear if only the connected account can actually play the game then
i mean now, with emunand being an option, maybe bringing the console online on that side of the system could make a difference. You're suggesting that as soon as you bring the console online, it will get banned which means it makes no difference what you do.
