So I stupidly wonder traded on Pokemon Sun and banned my New 3DS (my own fault I know)

I have a 2ds spare,its the Pokemon Red Special Edition,and I want to install CFW on that. Ive been looking at the Pokemon ORAS hack,is that possible to do with a 2DS using my banned one to set it up?

Ah, I see now, sorry, I thought you meant something other than 2812 or 0102. Out of curiosity, were you playing with the real cartridge?

You're rather confused. 2812 is not necessarily a perma-ban. That was a bunch of speculation.

Both bans are probably permanent, though they might not be. Only time can tell.

One is a online game ban, the other is an NNID restriction on the device.


Also, basehaxx (aka ORAS entrypoint) won't give you CFW, you'll still need to downgrade to 9.2, at the very least.

juli299 posted an email from nintendo germany saying the ban would be permanent (022-2803, issues because of badge arcade), and it was. there have been emails posted from nintendo germany, nintendo nl, that the ban would be permanent (022-2812)

You need to downgrade to 9.2 with basehaxx, but yes.

I think that NNID is only for Miiverse and share the money with a Wii U
