Like which files to avoid/download?
its suspicious that many of them have extremly different file size.
Theres also the thing that some of them say [full iso], do those only work on dvds or something?
is there something that will tell that it will work on a usb loader?

Every iso should work. The ones that are smaller than 4.7 GB are scrubbed which mean that the garbage data is removed. Full iso's are the total 4.7 GB which have no real advantage over the scrubbed versions as both will work exactly the same way.

Sometimes I download, I get the iso itself, other times, I get a bunch of .rar and .zip file. Currently looking at the New Super Mario Wii game, when I load the .rar file, it says it will take 0.34 GB of space on my USB, which looks really suspicious. Sure enough, when I pop it into the wii, I get the blue screen error
