The better question is whether the SNES emulators support the Pro Controller, since the 8bitdo one you linked just emulates that functionality. I reviewed the controller if you're on the fence with buying it, tl;dr it's definitely worth it.

Can't speak for the 8Bitdo, but I can confirm the Magic NS and PS4 controller work with pretty much every emu I've tried so far with the Switch

Snes2010 from Retroarch suports it.
I tested it and can confirm that my SFC30 works with no lag input.
Just change the directional under controll settings in retroarch and you're good to go.

Any homebrew that supports the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller will also support 8BitDo's SNES30/SNES30 Pro series of controllers, as they will function as Pro Controllers.

At the System Menu controller poring acreen, turn on your controllers by pressing Power + Y, then hold down the sync button to pair with your Switch. Once paired, they can then be used in the homebrew apps.
