Hacking any risk to update emunand without internet?

guys i downloaded the latest gw 3.2 to be able to update my emunand, the problem is i often receive the message: ''console ready to update bla bla bla'' it happens because my console already downloaded the update on stand by................

when i go to emunand system menu(GW3D 9.5.0-23u) and try to update, it says that the update is ready and i dont need the internet..........

please guys help me...can i update the emunand this way??

You can update emunand this way, but it might not get you to 9.7. It could be 9.6 previously downloaded on standby. If this is the case, you will need to update again if it doesn't update you to 9.7. It should be safe to do this, assuming GW 3.2 is compatible with 9.6 and not just 9.7. If you're afraid, make an emunand backup before you update. That's a smart thing to do before any emunand update.

It is also worth noting that after the first update that hypothetically takes you to 9.6, it will kick you back to sysnand. Always make sure you're on emunand before you update.

In the future, you might wish to turn off your wireless switch unless you need it.

Stick your SD card in your computer and use emunand tool to backup your emunand.

if you get the update nag while using official firmware, there is a way to boot the 3DS an get rid of that update nag. Can't quite remember the button combo you need while booting your 3DS, maybe somebody else knows what it is.

I don't concern myself with an update nag in emunand, it's an update nag in system nand that would bug me. I read the first post and it's not really clear what nand he is referring to, but it looks like you got it sorted. I'm off to update my emunand now too.

No problem. Remember to make sure you're on emunand before you update to 9.7.
