Gaming Any recommendations on what router I should get?

I am so bad at purchases.... Any one who is not computer illiterate able to help me please? I want a good, strong realible...router...for common house/apartment usage... but I can't tell which one i should get... decisions...decisions... so difficult...

D LINK 524. lol. That's what Im using. Im going to upgrade to Wireless N or WiMax if available in my country. WiFi-N is out but cant afford right now. we only have 1 laptop that uses N.

Make sure it's Nintendo DS friendly if you are a Nintendo Fan.

thanks for the reply chris! I think I might go with the first recommendation because it has won multiple awards already. Plus, they wer selling a combo deal giving me a 50 dollar discount on an adapter than makes the wi fi stretch even further ^.-

D LInk is also nice. that's what im pointing out. DO NOT BUY NetGear as far as im concern but it's your choice.

Good luck and post us some updates like if your gaming console's WiFi works. Connection has no problem. and stuff like that. I would like to hear that as Im a computer analyst. it would help me on my research.

I agree, go with the Dlink WRT54GL, same one I got right now.
Also make sure to try the custom firmwares such as Tomato and DD-WRT.
