ROM Hack Any possible way to transfer Pokemon using flashcarts?

I was looking forward to transferring all the legit Pokemon I caught on SS onto my White file, but the way they handle transferring Pokemon you have to use DS Download play to trade them and obviously it does not detect the game as its in an R4/AK2i...

So its there basically no way to trick/get the DS to trade you these Pokemon over? This really sucks, I'm honestly thinking of buying HG, and using it just for this, lol.

Actually now that I think about it, can I extract the .pkm files with Pokesave on my SS, copy them over to the B/W? Is this possible? I have very little experience with the software.

PokeSAV, and yes, you can, but the game won't register it on the Pokedex. The only way to register PokeSAV pokemon is to put them in an Egg let them hatch in the game

But will the description say "hatched at: blah blah blah"? I want them to have the normal description "
caught at blah blah from OT: Edgar" or retain their "Fateful Encounter" GMESTOP OT info.

I guess I could do both...put them in boxes, and make them into eggs, and then just release them once I get their Pokedex info.

Look for B/W PokeSAV on GBATemp. Yes, as long as you don't edit the Pokemon file, it will be as legit at it was on HG/SS.

You will need both HG/SS and B/W Pokesav.

If you are probaly going the legit way (not using pokesav), you need a retail cart. Probably ask one of your friends so you can trade you SS poke to the original cart or if you are going to buy one, just buy diamond or pearl, they are cheaper and the black rom will recognize them.

R4 and AK2i BOTH have wireless features... unless you turned them off of course.
You could just transfer them like normal..

Nope. The B&W games use the DS download features to trade pokemons, and the encryption doesn't allow non-original carts to be used.

Hatch the one you want for your pokedex and then just pokesav edit your pokemon in afterwards o.0?

Yeah but with Pokesav Even When they are Legit WiFi Wont Take them
it will say Somethings wrong with your pokemon and they are not Eligible
to compete

For some reason in B/W, when you take a Pokemon out of the daycare it is added to the Pokedex.

Probably the engine treats this as getting a pokemon, like a gift.
