Gaming any possible future mario karts?

not sure if this has been asked before
but like
if nintendo made a second mario kart
wouldnt they make a lot of money off it?
like add a few more characters,
more tracks
different karts
more items
and eliminate snaking
so would they make a second one?

I find it weird that while they'll bleed Pokemon & Mario to death with endless an assault of spin offs, but they won't put that development money to games that have better chance in selling like say Mario Kart, a proper Mario or even an all new Pokemon game.

Of course the upside of this is that franchises won't go the way of some EA, Sony, Sega & Activision titles that seem to get bi-yearly sequels.

Hadrian, is there any way to read your post so it will make sense? I've tried it forwards and backwards and came up with nothing. Is there a trick to it, do you write posts with some sort of Davinci code key?

i don't see how it could be very different from the first (unless it was double dash, now that would be awesome!) but I highly doubt another will ever come out, so far there hasn't been more than one mario kart released on a single platform, and I don't see why they'd need to release a second, the first one is pretty much perfect

eliminate snaking

and wat? make it another nubfest like brawl and mk wii have turned out to be? though brawl's startin to grow on me.

the only problem with snaking is it made 95% of the other karts obsolete. solution? don't eliminate snaking, just make it more balanced. give the crappier karts even better items, increase speed, do w/e. taking out something as a solution to balancing it is the easy way out. don't take out such a huge factor of the game. o, and for gods sake, please make wifi 150cc NOT 100 o.o" (or at least give us a choice)

Making one game per system for each franchise is already enough for me.. EA and Activision destroy their franchises by releasing a new game each six months! Nintendo take it's time to make sure the game is good, which also helps creating more expectation on when the game will come out and what new things it will bring.

So, I don't think we'll be seeing another Mario Kart until the next Nintendo system..

Well then you probably fail in the brain region then, coackroachman managed too so why can't you?

Anyhoo what I was saying was that I fount it weird that they keep with these spin offs rather than the ones that work LIKE (not the exact game) Mario Kart or a new game. So I wasn't wanting a new Mario Kart just games that WORK. Mario Kart DS was an example as A. Its sold well. B. People actually liked it, unlike say other spin offs.

He said 'although Nintendo produce loads of spin-offs they only do one Mario Kart per console' and that kinda conflicts seeing as Mario Kart IS a spin-off.
