Very slim, like getting hit by lightning. You're better off either installing linux on your computer or buying Oot + powersave = $50

Well yes, to downgrade you need homebrew channel, and that link shows you all the methods possible on 10.7

why don't do you figure that out and do your own research. What we're telling you now, there's no freehax on 10.6/10.7, end of story.

The Smash Bros demo was patched so if you have the latest version smashbroshax will no longer work.
You don't need Linux installed, this guide will instruct you to use a Live CD/Live USB: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-using-smashhax-with-linux.397194/

Burn it to a cd, configure your bios to boot from the cd choose try ubuntu and proceed with installing smashhax

Your point being? It really sounds like you need to do more research before posting. Ubuntu has been able to be ran as a live cd (basically meaning you can burn it off to a cdr, pop it in your computer, reboot your machine, and you should be good) since pretty much day 1. People have offered up as much information as is currently available. No offense, but I'd really hope you do more research before trying to downgrade your system...
