I've tried NX-Shell but that seems to be only managing the SD card. Ideally I'd like something that can move files from USB to SD or vice versa. Anything out there?

Tinfoil? That works for moving files? I'm not looking for installs just moving a file to USB

Yes tinfoil has a mtp built in so you can transfer files. But if I remember correctly, you need to setup nut to use it.
I personally suggest dbi installer, it has built in mtp and doesn't require extra software. There is also hekate's ums that mounts your sd card. Yeah it's annoying to have to reboot for hekate but if you use tesla, you can use an overlay that will reboot you to hekate

If you want to use homebrew within the homebrew menu then I can recommend DBI, I used it yesterday in MTP mode and it was fantastic and very stable.

Are you talking about a USB stick/drive, or a USB cable to a computer? For the latter, DBI and its MTP feature is the best, for the former idk if nx-shell has added the driver support but it would probably be nice if the dev or someone else added it. I always go the cable way myself, one less step.

I'm sorry I'm not being very clear.

I can use FTP to copy a file across to the switch, so let's say:

SD Card:\File.txt

I want to move that, without disconnecting wires or connecting it to a PC, to the attached USB storage. Are there any file managers that can do that? I'm not bothered about installing the File.txt or doing anything other than moving it from SD to USB.

Hope that makes sense!
