With all the cIOS's and "hidden channel" apps floating around, is there any way to restore a Wii to "factory settings"... like an automated way to remove EVERYTHING from the Wii...

Save Files
Loaded Discs (it puts a ticket on when you play the game)
DLC (including WiiWare/VC)
cIOS
Hidden Channels (like DVDx)

I know you can boot up AnyTitleDeleter, but I don't wanna brick my system by deleting the wrong stuff, and there's no real guide (that I've found, I could be wrong though) on what's NOT safe, and what is safe...

Like if I remove IOS37, will that brick my Wii, or just "downgrade" my system to 3.2? See, not sure...

Could one of the Gods please write something, as I pretty much suck in Wii Dev, and have no real way to fix a bricked system at this point.

AnyTitle Deleter has brick protection which prevents you from deleting the wrong things.

And also, it's called "Format Wii System Memory" in the Wii System Options.

EDIT: And I'd like a application which ONLY erases the Message Board.

Use AnyTitle Deleter to delete IOS249 under System Titles.
That deletes it.

The DVD stub can be uninstalled through the installer, but it is also title DVDX under Hidden Channels in AnyTitle Deleter.

Also, formatting does leave behind tickets for free download from the Wii Shop, which you should delete EVERYTHING under Downloaded Channels in AnyTitle Deleter.

That enough?
