Hacking Another system update? Already?

I have GW emuNAND at 9.9.0-26U and I just got another prompt while in GW Mode for a system update.

10.0.0-0U??? Already?

WTF???

Anyone else get this update?

yls8.mtheall.com hasn't reported anything on a new update so far. Do you have any downgraded titles? If so, that may be causing the update prompt, compare with http://yifan.lu/2015/03/23/nintendo-3ds-system-updater/

Downgraded titles... Not that I'm aware of. Is it safe to run update again?

At this point I just keep cancelling. Not updating by accident again...

Backup you emunand, update it and let us know.

If something goes wrong you can go back reinjecting the old emunand with emunand tool.

Well, I just formatted my O3DS and am setting up a fresh emuNAND this morning. Started updating right before seeing this post. I'll let you guys know what comes out.

@Osmosis you received and actual prompt to update (the one where you press A and it start the process to update) or it was a notification?
There are lots of times, even on my OFW N3DS I receive a notification through spotpass to update my console, even if it's already up to date.

Yes I updated an old 4.5 to latest 9.9 and much later got an update for 9.4....

Actual prompt. Not a notification. Prolly a bad .3ds or .cia file...

It also might have something to do with my recent Blue Card adventure and playing NDS games... I did get a notification about DS games.

I've just given in to the prompt on my N3DS as I wanted to download something from the eShop. Just done the update and it's gone to 9.9.0-26E. It left my custom theme intact and I didn't even need to reinstall Ninjhax - it just worked
