Hi.
My case its simple: I have an shortcircuit between the CLK and the CMD. The PCB peeled a bit off and now there is copper between them. I asked a bit and someone said me that for the CMD,cutting the track and flashing the unit with a alternative point will be the best option. Something like that:
(I didnt anything of this yet,of course)

There is any better options? It can work?

I searched on the forums, and i found that alternative points. Its any of them valid?

Thanks.

Could you provide simple picture of the DAT0, CMD and CLK points of your motherboard ?

if you cut your cmd wire , your 3ds won't work at all , maybe you will only see a blue/clack screen since cmd and clock are connected like you said

Desoldering braid ftw?
The problem its that the CLK and the CMD are bridged. Why? I thing that the problem is that layer of copper between them. Some people suggest me cutting it,some cutting the cmd track for avoiding the shortcircuit and using an alternative point...
What must i do in that case? (@milerwan,there must be any other option without being sending the motherboard to the trash)

Thanks to anyone.

Without CLK and CMD dots, your motherboard is normally out of order...

Currently does your console start and work or you have just BSOD screen ?

If you have BSOD screen, you need to exchange the motherboard or buy a new console.

But the dots WORK. I tested them with a polimeter. The problem its the SHORTCIRCUIT.
PS: My mobile phone camera its bullshit.

Without being the DAT0,its broken.

A customer has sent its console with the same issue a year ago, the CMD dot was torn and its motherboard was irreparable.
So I can tell you that if you have the CMD point torn, the motherboard is completely out of order.

And another thing... The dots arent simple testpoints? Why the unit doesnt work if it isnt there?

The CLK point is the input of electric power of the NAND, so if you plug power on it others tracks will be affected.

LOL. If i put power on CLK,as i said,it appears on the CMD. It is broken? Really?
(Cant affect to it the peeled copper?)
EDIT: I tested them better... The CMD its broken... Its molten and only passes power in a few points... Putting soldering iron there musnt do the same?
Thanks.

first get a camera ans take a clean picture of the damagaed area
your board is not out of ordetr just by pulling the cmd test point like milerwan said...it can be repaired , but wer need to know which lines are affected(i doubt that only cmd and c lock that are short together , maybe other lines too)
another idea would be to cut traces from both sides and then bridge them bypassing the damaged/short area , but like i said , we need a clear and high resolution picture of your board

I will try to borrow to a friend a better camera... But watching with an magnyfing glass the CMD its like this:

I didnt did the soldering fail,it was an familiar. He didnt gave me much information, but the pads looks like... melted?

3 doctors on a dead patient will not bring more to life...
ok I go out.

EDIT : Test CLK and CMD points with GND maybe the signal you have is GND...
