Hacking another noob question for backup launcher

Mine says Wiigator .3 is that the gamma .3? because a friend downloaded it im not sure if its the newest. Thanks in advance.

is the background black or like white and blue? if it's black, it's gamma. otherwise it's beta.

or, even easier, if it says gamma at the top it's gamma.

is there anything special to do to uninstall the one I have or can i just install gamma over it?
