"Sega is working on so many RPGs for the DS it’s easy to lose sight track of their RPG deluge. Compared to the amount of coverage of Phantasy Star Zero and even the relatively obscure Shiren DS sequel Blazer Drive seems to have fallen through the cracks.

Blazer Drive is based on a manga where stickers are part of everyday life. Mystickers simplify life by taking care of tasks. If you want power an electric bike all you need to do is affix an electricity sticker. For a select few Mystickers are also used in combat which is what Sega is focusing on for their DS game. Blazer Drive looks similar to a trading card game, except cards are replaced by virtual stickers. Once you make a powerful deck out of the 300+ Mystickers you can challenge other Blazers locally or over Nintendo Wi-Fi.

Instead of making easy to design one-on-one matches Blazer Drive has two-on-two tag team fights. However, you only get to control one out of the four characters. Your ally is controlled by a friend and the two of you have to cooperate to defeat a rival two human team. The tag team system should make online battles unique since not all partners will be sitting next to each other. Well, there is one work around to give a skilled single player an edge over Nintendo Wi-Fi, a second copy of Blazer Drive and a spare DS. But, any player willing to spend time leveling up and searching for hidden Mystickers twice deserves some kind of edge."

YuGiOh '08 can tag team duel too. But no one ever chooses that option online. :\ I've been craving for a tag team duel.
