Hacking Another day, another Pokemon save problem

SO, I wanted to play some Pokemon Sapphire Version on my EZ-Flash IV, and I loaded it through the client, played a bit, saved at my house, restarted the game and got the
"The save file has been corrupted. The previous file will be loaded." message.
So does anyone know a way around this? A patch or something? Set a different save type in the client?

Does that happen every time you play the game?
Can you access your new saved state?

Every time indeed.
It does just what it says, it loads the save file one or two save files before the most recent.
