Hacking Annoying problem with HDD in usb loader!!

So finally got into the usb loader. Got a Western Digital MyPassport Essential 160 GB, which according to the compatibility list works great with usb loader.

So formatted it to FAT32 and installed installed IOS36-64-v1042.wad and cIOS036 rev9 all perfect. Plugged it into the Wii and fired up Configerable USB loader which formattted it to WBFS instantly with no problems. After putting a couple of Isos from my computer onto it I fired it back up to only get a 30 second timeout and an ERROR=-1 message. Tried USB Loader GX and still no joy. Tried every possible way to get this to work and no joy.

Any help would be great

so youve tried both usb ports right???

ok good if its still a no go try rev 14 and make sure your hdd is in usb port 0

Thanks Ill give that a try and see what happens. Is usb port 0 the one closest to the edge?

I recommend updating your cIOS36 rev9 to cIOS38 rev14, as there have been several improvements since rev9. You'll need to use the outer usb port (or bottom if you have your Wii lying flat) for it.
