So I have an AVI clip that I want to make into an animated GIF. Only thing is, when I google it, it throws up a TON of information which involve tons of programs. I was wonder what is the recommended one to use?

Yea, its really neat. Bigger files can take a few hours to get to your inbox though. If your not in any rush though, its very convenient.

If you're on a Mac: (I know, Harskey's not, just FYI)
Open .avi in Quicktime and "export movie to image sequence" (make a new folder for 'em)
Open GraphicConverter and use Convert & Modify to save all selected frames to a .gif, using the .gif options to specify timing, loop, etc..
Done. I'm sure there's a quicker way, but I just tried it and it worked.

wantque, curious to know, is your premiere warez are not?
My contribution to this topic: I'm FAIRLY (which means not totally) sure that in macromedia Flash, if you import a movie file, it will be shown as a movie clip with each frame.
Maybe later i'll look into it.
