Okay, so for bug reporting @marc_max , I was editing data the NTSC-J (Japanese) version of New Leaf. The item inventory appears broken. The bells in my pocket were listed as "winning tickets" (lol), and there were other instances i.e. Tom Nook's store had corrupted items, like portraits of villagers for sale, as well as [?] unknown items. I think the items are what is causing the corruption here. Hypothetically speaking, if the items are all jumbled and loading unknown [?] items upon injection, that could be what's causing the corruption issue. Other than that, saving and exporting lead to errors that may have something to do with corruption as well.
Which version of the editor are you using? Try to use the latest version before reporting a bug.

I'm using 2.9 ALPHA. Is there a more recent revision (Alpha 3) available?

EDIT: Just noticed the 3rd revision is up on the site. I'll begin bug testing soon.

What is safe to do, and what not? I'm not interested in stuff like change the map or similiar. I just like to have some villagers i like and money.

It's difficult to say...
But if you get an error after saving the data on the ram editor, then it might be a clue that you have gone too far.
I guess we should be patient and wait for the mods to update/fix it.

Okay, edits should be a little more forgiving because the editor has been updated to ALPHA 3.
:P

I tried restoring a map and it makes the game crash when I try to launch the game

edit - unhacked N3DS XL on the most current firmware - Freakyhax with JK's

Thank you for your help...

BTW GUYS!!... DONT USE JKSV WITH CFW!
Boot homebrew and use "save game manager" instead. This will lower corruption rate with the WelcomeAmiibo update.
(back up your data often too)
Wow , all this time i was using JKSV. THANK YOU! Will try it later! ^^

Is this jumbling error happening with anyone else?

I exported twice to be sure and it still happens. It also still does this when using nonHacked files and normal "garden.dat" files

Edit:
Are you "Zoomed in" to the page?

Hahaha thanks.
i was zoomed out a little.
It has to be at 100% at all times; i totally forgot.
