I've been able to play every game up to this point with no problems, however, when I insert Animal Crossing : City Folk, it asks me to perform a system update. I'm running a USA console NTSC with 3.3U and a Wiikey/clip with 1.9 firmware. Not sure what they want me to update... but for some reason my Wiikey config disc won't bypass the update even with bypass updates turned on.

Is it safe to do this update? My wiikey config disc shows up as 1.4 even though I swore it was 1.9... maybe something with my disc is preventing me from disabling updates. Or maybe the update is okay to go ahead and use. Either way, I'm not doing anything until I get an opinion. Thanks all

Yes I updated, it's ok. I have the Wiikey 2.

The update only updates for the wiispeak if I am not mistaken. I think it may harm homebrew though. But I don't keep up with Wii homebrew so I updated anyway.

As long as it is your region, you should be good to go.

all you have to do is burn another copy after removing the update with brickblocker, then you need to install the IOS 38 WAD file through WAD manager in HBC

then you can still use wiispeak and stay at 3.2

wiibrew has these files and info
