So what are the best or popular Amiibos for ACNH and what do they exactly do?

They let you bring specific animals to your campsite in game, they exist as amiibo cards and the legit ones can be rare/hard to find.

You can make them yourself with NFC tags and a phone

The best ones are the most popular animals, like Marshall.

As for the most popular, it seems like everyone is going crazy for Raymond right now, since he's new and not yet available as an amiibo.

If you manage to nab one of the more in demand cards you can sell them for a fortune online. It's weird though, as once you've got the villager onto your island there's nothing more to do with them so you might as well sell it on again. You'd expect the prices to be lower.

Unfortunately Raymond is not available as an amiibo. I am hoping he will be released as an amiibo card in the future along with the other new villagers.
