I am looking for a 7" Android tablet to play games like Amiga, SNES, GBA, any recommendations or should I get a PC 7" Windows Tablet

that's a craplet, aka a piece of junk that isn't worth your money, it will run slow as crap, runs either froyo or gingerbread (as opposed to honeycomb optimized for tablets), doesn't have any google apps (the android market, gmail, google maps, etc.), and is generally made out of pure bullcrap that will disappoint you in every way possibleBryon15 said:I'm thinking about buying this one.

It's the only one I've seen that's affordable and has wi-fi, adobe flash and the ability to run emulators. Also is dealextreme a trustworthy site to order from?

Well damn. What am I supposed to do? I can't afford a $500 tablet.Terminator02 said:that's a craplet, aka a piece of junk that isn't worth your money, it will run slow as crap, runs either froyo or gingerbread (as opposed to honeycomb optimized for tablets), doesn't have any google apps (the android market, gmail, google maps, etc.), and is generally made out of pure bullcrap that will disappoint you in every way possibleBryon15 said:I'm thinking about buying this one.

I also have a galaxy tab, it is running GBA just fine , you don't need fancy things to play GBA games on it , check ebayjan777 said:galaxy tab works pretty well. Although I do have problems connecting the WiiMote on it (touch screen control on any device is shit)

Well I did some research on the nook color and I'm impressed. It does need to be rooted to unlock it's full potential though. But all the stores in my area have it for $250. Where did you see it for $200? Also is has a 800mhz processor as opposed to 1ghz. Is that okay or will it cause slow down.dragonmaster said:well there is a nook color which is 200usd from barnes and nobles it is an ereader but with some tweaks is a full fast nice tablet

How smoothly does it run emulators? Like N64, snes, sega genesis, ect.dragonmaster said:well if you want a full tablet you ought to root it or install another version honeycomb or cm7 also when rooted it can run up to 1.3ghz as i have been using it for 2 months i must say that is perfect all around.
about the 200usd maybe it was an offer as they usually do sales ,even and for 250 it is a bargain
well tested emus from me where snes, gba, genesis all were working very well and fast and i even use a wii remote control to play them without the touck key input cause of the cpu it can run most of themBryon15 said:How smoothly does it run emulators? It's good! Flash and everything works nice. I don't use stock, because I don't like the interface. Dolphin HD is very nice for the Nook.Bryon15 said:How responsive/good is the web browser? Youtube works great for me. I've never tried megavideo, but if it's a website using flash it should work.
