Homebrew Question Android Switch VR - Joy Con Hands?

Using Android on the Switch, would one be able to play VR games/apps, and use the Joy-Cons as VR hand controllers? The Switch posses the hardware to do so (gyroscopes), but I'm unsure if the software support is there as of right now..

We don't even have auto-rotation working on switchroot, never mind VR tracking. Gyro is just plain not ready at this point.
