He already said it's based on Android TV but will be easy to switch between.

I don't even think it matters what android version it is at this moment, as long as they start making progress and making everything work at full performance, then it can probably be moded to any kernel+android version.

Oh didn't catch that... But I wish he could rip Nvidia Shield TV later with all fancy Nvidia stuff working making it the tablet that Nvidia never released as they never upgraded the Nvidia Shield tablet which is the one I have.

Ever since the specs were announced for the Switch, I immediately thought of the Shield TV with it's X1. Having the Switch running Amdroid TV will make it the greatest system ever.

Totally agree, it even have war thunder (or at least had, no idea).

And since I plan to heavily mod my switch in terms of cooling would be nice to actually extract more power for Android stuff and if the joy-cons fully work later, then I would finally play a few games which I can't say I ever played on my Nvidia shield because I will not go outside carrying a DS4 controller 4 it...

I even bought borderlands 2 for my shield tablet, but can't say I actually played it, just tested a bit...

He said he was switching from android tv to regular android a few posts ago ;)
Even AndroidTV has a version. Stock Android is on version Pie, or version 9. AndroidTV is currently on version Nougat, or version 7. Version Oreo (version 8) of AndroidTV is currently still in BETA.

Hmm. It does appear as though AndroidTV has been updated to 9. My bad.

Could you answer the question though? Which version of Android?

I hope if Android TV is a reality, it will be possible to use a remote control/air mouse.

Is there a particular reason you are inquiring about the version? Any version of Android at this point is a win for the community.

Wait, so will this use the Linux loader? I would love to have this for emulation instead of messing with emuNAND/sysNAND stuff, but I heard at least Linux still has no audio, which is already why I'm not using Lakka. lol
