Hello,
I'm pretty sure it is not a problem, but for I, it is.
When I plug the Micro-HDMI cable in my android tablet, the screen turns black.
The screen appears on my TV screen, ok, fine.
I'm pretty sure it is supposed to do that.
But my problem is, I can't see what I'm doing on the tablet anymore, I'm tapping on it, but I never know if I'm tapping at the right place.
I want to use the tablet to stream video, so it would be usefull to select the video on the tablet,
stream it on the TV, and not having to remove the cable every damn time I change of video.

So, is there a way to see what's on the tablet on both Tablet and TV screen when the HDMI-Cable is connected?
Thanks :)

you plug the micro usb end of the otg cable to ur tablet, then ur micro usb-hdmi to the micro usb output. then plug a usb mouse(and keyboard if u want) then u can use the tablet with mouse/keyboard

Or you can always pair a bluetooth mouse and keyboard and not worry about wires, too. I've got an Apple BT Mouse and a Zagg hooked up to mine and it's bloody convenient,

Not poor as in financially poor, poor as in "It is a poor thing that there aren't plentiful five dollar bluetooth mice on every corner."

We get lots of melamine-tainted milk, BPA-filled baby toys and antibiotic-laced meat here, so that might be another reason why things are so cheap.

Look under settings/display - there might be an option to configure if you want to keep the screen off or on when plugged into HDMI. If not, then you're probably screwed.
