Which to use?

Post if its working.
?

EDIT: Also most of the ISOs I find are PAL how can I make them work on my NTSC Wii? IN the compatibility list it says something about forced NTSC. How do I do that? Also those things I quoted are just the loaders right? How can I patch the ISO? In the extractpartition folder there is some files but I don't know what to do with them and my ISO. It needs to be compiled right? Any link to a pre compiled version yet? And is the DVDX that I need to install this?

OK, so what is this what I need to do?
-Install this CIOS? Do I need to bother with anything but the .dol?
-Install the dvdx found here and go advanced and choose what?
-Then install one of the .dols I posted above the italics

Yeah I don't know. I still need the extract partition and the dip module. I don't even know what the dip module is. Part of the CIOS installer?

Yeah this would be appreciated. If I ever understand what how to do it I will make one if no one better fitting the job wants to. However I haven't even installed it yet as you can tell by my various questions above.

The new version I guess check torrent site or what not otherwise(can't give you a specific one, against the rules)

Ok, so I got my ISO, I put it through backup-creator, I burned it with imgburn (partition.iso) ran the cios and installed dvdx.

I'm getting a DVD Identity Failed when I try to run it. Where is my error?

OK so in order to do this I need to install custom firmware right? What are the dangers of this? Can I go back to normal Nintendo firmware? What if a game requires I update to the latest Nintendo firmware while I have the custom? What if I try to install the newest one? If all else fails can the iso's of games that require a install of a official firmware be hacked so they no longer do?

This is my last fear regarding trying this. That and bricking my Wii but a lot of people have tried it and seem to have no problems.

Isn't that what 56Killer linked to here?
Also, has a compiled version of the ISO patcher been uploaded? And about my firmware questions asked earlier?

i guess i'm missing something here...

do you use it just like other homebrew-apps?
say: just copy the folder to /apps/ on the sd-card and run it through the hbc?

good you admit it cause you cannot use this to test anything when having your chip installed.

Does anybody have a working link to the latest version of the source. It is really strange that I can't find the source code for a piece of GPL licensed software.

I couldn't edit the Comp/list:

Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree, works great, but doesn't work the WiiConnect24 (wich I don't think anyone care)
waninkoko's gave me the GSoD (green screen of death), I even patch the .iso to PAL and the same, and that was when I found out about WiiGator's and now everything is pink color...!!!

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
