I was thinking of an idea of having a homebrew loader (and game patcher) on the DS that let's you choose if you want to play HG or SS (games stored in [root]/HGSS/hg.nds for HG and ss.nds for SS.)

or......

"Play with Patches"! (Applies patches on-the-spot) (Patches in [root]/HGSS/hg.bat or hg.patch for HG and ss.bat or ss.patch for SS.)

Here is what I'd think it'll look like!

Any thoughts?

A .bat file is a file for Microsoft OS'ses.
To run such a thing, you would have to create an Interpreter, and normally the batch file is running external programs, sometimes they arent open source, try to rebuild them for the NDS...

Anyway there is very little difference between HG and SS it would be a waste of time to redo almost the exact same game just so you could catch ho-oh.

If the patch combined the games or was compatible with the same .sav that would be cool
