So i ended up upgrading the PSP from my wife to 271 and sened it in to mod it with UP

Now the 1.50 i use for emu stuff, the 2.71 with UP i use for emu stuff

There isn't just one good game to keep on the memorystick (ok there are 'OK' games, but not one i would say, damned this is fun and looks great, mostly it's, damned this looks great, but it suxs ass)

I Mostly run megadrive/genesis and snes emu on the psp, there great on it.

The UP is easy, cause you can use 1.0 homebrew (no corrupt icons, no % dirs) and you can mess around and brick your psp, just recover it with the up and you can start again messing around.

try Ultimate Ghouls'n Goblins and Every Extend Extra

they both look great and are fun

Me & My Katamari would be pretty fun too, if the @!%$§ d-pad didn't suck so much

I've somehow ended up with 2 psps one 1.5 and another 2.7. I've no idea why I upgraded the firmware to 2.7 but it was before the loader came out to run any game. Sony have revised the motherboad on the newer versions of the psp so you can't downgrade, at the moment I think piracy is the only thing keeping the psp alive. Nintendo DS ftw.

Piracy hasn't keept any system alive

No profit from it...

G&G is to difficult for me (yeah even in easy mode

)

The 2 others couldn't get me sticky to my psp to long.

(same for most ds games also

well, then videogaming might just not be the right hobby for you

did you even play Every Extend Extra enough to get the hang of it?
it's really addictive, I just can't stop playing it

If what you're saying is true, videogaming might not be the right hobby for most PSP owners. Hell, Every Extend sold something like 4000 copies its first week in Japan. Both games, while fun, are niche titles at best.

just to give you some heads up, you probably shouldn't post links to eboots just in case this site has a problem with that.....but there are other places to look other than qj for firmware eboots.

Does the site normally have problems because a fake eboot could brick a PSP?

The firmware was officially released by Sony and isn't hacked or decrypted. Just curious since it's not illegal and was officially posted at one time by Sony.

This site seems to have the legit US 2.71 firmware if anyone cares:

Sorry if I'm breaking a rule, if I am please warn me and kill my link

Downgraders, EBOOTs and whatever is fine, just post the dumps of firmwares. Firmware EBOOTs are copyright Sony, and so modifying and extracting the EBOOT is illegal.
