That would be a resistor or capacitor, not a transistor.

i've been seeing a lot of these from these installs. you might be fine. i've seen some people bridge the connections from the other resistor. you can also try finding a new one on aliexpress or some other hardware dealer.

protip, use flux. you might have also used too much heat, I would recommend a variable-temp solder gun/pen

Defiantly not a solder gun. Those are very different and much much larger.

Had a friend back in high school try and mod his Xbox 360 with one. Melted the whole damn board since there’s no sort of fine tip

ah okay, i assumed the tips for the guns might have also been replaceable. i've only used pens ever since i learned how to solder lol
