Hello everyone I got windows 7 ultimate 64 bit with windowblinds 7 I found out after I was about to edit BUY NOW
I said to myself 19.95 to change the look of windows what a rip! anyway I am thinking about buying it but first before
I do anything I want to see if there are any alternates to windowblinds any help would be great!

As opposed to using a program, you could use actual themes.

http://browse.deviantart.com/customization...s7/visualstyle/

There's a whole bunch of different custom themes there. You'll have to do some patching if you want to change all of your images, but you don't need too. Give them a look, see what you like. Each one "should" have instructions on how to install the themes in the actual post.

My brother uses a program called Rainmeter/Rainmaker, that's a nice skinning program, though, I agree with Windaga alot too.

bbLean and LiteStep are two great alternative shell replacements.

WindowBlinds is a bloated, buggy piece of shit and nobody should ever use it.

I have to agree, and add SharpE to that little list of shell replacements.

why change it? I love the 7's aero style
Because not everyone shares the same graphical tastes as yourself?

Personally, I think Aero looks chintzy as fuck. First thing I do on any Vista/Win7 machine is disable it.
