They did. If you haven't already, look into how SSD file deletion works. NAND follows the same concept. It's only able to be written to a finite number of times. So instead of zeroing a file when deleted, it marks that space as "empty", meaning a new file can be written there. So unless a new file IS written there, the old data is still there, able to be read with a hex editor, but not by mounting the partition.i wonder why nitnendo didn't completely removed this stuff... it could have saved some TWL_NAND space...
Other versions of Test Menu also have proper (PNG) screenshots!Nothing major. Everything except System Settings and Dev Menu have to be launched through Dev Menu.
I know, I have a newer version of it, but it is encrypted with dev keysOther versions of Test Menu also have proper (PNG) screenshots!
Just wondering, would it be possible to use retail 3DS with dev keys using Decrypt9? @ReisyukakuTry to cryptofix them anyway (some dev keys are known) or ask Rei
Weren't retail bootrom keys the same as panda?Oh, I meant he has a Panda console lol
But yes, if somehow the dev keys were dumped (bootrom!), it would be easy for D9 to load alternate keys from SD even though they don't normally need a key file!
but with bootrom, we can dump "THE NINTENDO KEY" and dump all the different devs keys.Weren't retail bootrom keys the same as panda?
Anyone who wants it, just PM me.
Google is not helping me.Anyone who wants it, just PM me.
No worries, I'm in the process of getting it uploaded there. I've got 9 PMs asking for it. xDGoogle is not helping me.
FYI I'm on "That 3DS ISO Site".
Please.
Thanks a lot.No worries, I'm in the process of getting it uploaded there. I've got 9 PMs asking for it. xD
Test Menu will be it's own link. There'll also be some..surprises.Thanks a lot.
Could you make them separate mega downloads, so we can make QR codes for FBI (please)?
I am positive either you or I (probably me) doesn't understand what this is. The test menu (App) is used for testing the 3ds capabilities before leaving the factory. The fw is for actual game debuggingI'm sure making a clone of the test menu is simple enough, and might lead to custom home menu (XMMB anybody? >300 games anybody?)
