Hacking Question All title updates or the most recent one?

Hi Everybody.
One question, do I need to install all title updates available for one game or is it sufficient to install only the most recent update?

Thanks I was just curious cause let’s say Update 1 has 5gb and Update 2 has 4GB made me think I need both.

Sometimes, albeit rarely, a newer update is smaller than an older update. More likely, the newer update is repacked and/or compressed as NSZ, which results in a smaller file size.
