So I'm working on an InstallMii repo for everyone, kind of like github.
It isn't complete yet.
  • Users will be limited to 10 repos (For now, until I can get a better server)
  • Each repo can have 50MB of files in them.
  • An online file uploader.
For now, because I don't have a better server you will be limited.
This is to help users only need 1 repo.

If you have any ideas, commentary, complaints, send them to me at:
[email protected]

Please don't let the lack of replies throw you down, this will be really useful once it gets done.

he wants to make a 3ds homebrew that lets you download . . . 3ds homebrew
it has been done at least 2 times in the past but no one ever keeps maintenance on them so the previous two died out
Not really, this is a website that you can host your software for the InstallMii hombrew. Why reinvent the wheel?

lol i should be asking you that . . . if not homebrew then what would we host and download?
There is a homebrew called installmii that works like cydia, you add repos with homebrew files. I'm making a website to host those homebrew so you don't need 50 repos.

so . . .
he wants to make a website to host files so you can use an existing (dead) 3ds homebrew that lets you download . . . 3ds homebrew
sorry i skipped a step

It's a cool idea. I like it. It's 100% worthless to me since I know how to actually use Google and all but, it's going to be nice for people that don't know how to search for things.

It's not lazyness, it's comodity, lets say you have a n3ds and no wifi nor tools to open the back cover, you need a homebrew, then what? Give Up? Hotspot your phone then download it =D.

Heh sounds cool. Would make getting homebrew a lot easier than plugging in my SD card in my PC each time I want to add a piece of homebrew.

Also, @DKB Google sometimes doesn't help you. There are some kinds of homebrew that either:
  • Have been substituted with better/other alternatives (e.g. FTP3ds instead of FTBrony)
  • Don't work properly.
  • Have been updated since you started using them.
Using a repository+a graphical package manager (InstallMii), it's relatively easy to fix most of these for normal users.

Another thing is that googles not always your friend.

I will search a problem i have on my 3ds and i dont get anything that works.

And then i try on GBATemp and i keep getting downgrading shit.

Then i make a thread to ask for help and get bullied because i didn't google how to.

BUT I DID!!!
